Bike Events

The UofA Bike Fest is an annual celebration every spring semester of all things bikes on the U of A campus. The event is co-hosted by the Office for Sustainability and UREC Outdoors. Local bike shops and cycling organizations form on and off campus are present to talk to students and offer tips, advice, bike maintenance, and fitting.

Come join us for Bike Fest 2018 in the Union Mall on April 5th 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm! We will have local vendors including Phat Tire, Bike NWA, and Experience Fayetteville on campus to provide resources about accessible trails, bike safety, and the inside scoop on commuter and recreational events around the community. There will be prizes, give-a-ways, and the opportunity to join in the UofA's Two Mile Challenge!

National Bike Month

May is National Bike Month, and in 2015 Northwest Arkansas celebrated with the grand opening of the completed Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway. The City of Fayetteville also celebrated Bike to Work Week (which takes place in May) and held several cycling events.

National Bike Month is sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists. Find out about Bike Month dates and events.
